I ran the 2008 LA Marathon yesterday and it brought back awesome memories from my SRLA days! Keep up the good work! See you guys in 2009!

comments: I participated with SRLA throughout Palms Middle school and Venice High School completing ten marathons. The program had a strong impact on my life, as a cross country Varsity athlete and learning to set goals through hard work and discipline. Currently, I am a freshman at the The New School University in NYC. I am most grateful to SRLA for their generous support of providing a college scholarship. Running has become a lifestyle and a part of my life. When I was home for winter break, I even went running with the Venice High team. I know that SRLA will continue be a part of my life.

comments: My name is Christian Vazquez, Graduate from Huntington Park high school. I first started my SRLA experience when i was a 7th grader back in Henry T. Gage Middle School. I am currently in College now, I love Students Run L.A. Its the best Program ever. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!

comments: I remember my first race, "L.A. Marathon" I though it was a big mistake, but that's how I found out about Cross Country and Track. I ran with SRLA for two years, I had a lot of fun and learned a lot too. This is my last semester at the University of Hawaii, I came here on Running Scholarship.. Thanks SRLA...

First posting: comments: Hello my name is Heber A. Marquez. I first started my SRLA experience as a senior in high school. I am no longer a student runner but I do want to say that I have been coaching at Ellen Ochoa Learning Center for the past two years and I'm just starting the third. I guess I can say that I am an SRLA "Student" Runner Alumni.
