1.   Why did you join SRLA?

Belle: I joined SRLA because my brother ran the marathon a couple years before me, and he inspired me. He is my idol!

Samantha: Because I did it last year and I liked it a lot.

2.   What do you enjoy most about SRLA?

Belle: The thing that I love most about SRLA is that we are all like a family and when we struggle there is always someone there for you, to help you finish.

Samantha: You get to meet new friends.

3.   What is your favorite subject in school?

Belle: My favorite subject in school is Social Science because I am very interested in our history and would like to one day travel around to see all the historical places.

Samantha: History

4.   What other hobbies do you have?

Belle: I always like doing other sports so I currently surf and play soccer. Surfing is my hobby, and soccer is my favorite sport.

Samantha: soccer, surfing and water skiing

5.   What sort of career do you hope to have someday?

Belle: My goal is to be a dentist because I always love going to the dentist and think that it is something I could do for my career.

Samantha: A doctor

6.   What do you feel is the biggest problem facing the United States and how would you solve it?

Belle: I think the biggest problem in the United States is there is too much violence in the United States. Every time I turn on the news, there is always death involved and gangs. I would try to solve it by teaching kids at a young age that violence never solves anything and you should be respectful of everyone even though they may be different from you.

Samantha: The deficit is growing, and we need to stop spending the money we don’t have!
